| Hey everyone. If you are just viewing the Main
Site, you've missed out on a lot of news. MMLEx that we all know
(and most either ignored or hated) is gone. We have been remaking
the engine game from scratch since around December, on a C++ engine.
The new engine will be better, in the fact that it will not slow
down on most computers, and it will feature a more full fledged
engine, much more comparable to MML2. Check out the forums on http://MMLS.PROBOARDS7.COM
for a more comprehensive update on the status |

| The MMLEx Part 1 demo is far into development.
The Part 1 demo will include part of part 1. It will include most
features that will be in the full game, including voice acted cutscenes,
and reaverbots. Look forward to this one, this will be the first
major release for MMLEx. |

After a bit of work on the Alpha 6, we stopped
finding bugs in it, so it is no longer an alpha, and a beta release
would be near impossible, since most my beta testers have disappeared.
I'm looking for a server to host it rather than my own
How to navigate the menu
The menu is heavily incomplete in this version, and all there is,
is a generic rocket we found online and trees.
1. put your mouse on the rocket
2. when it zooms in click the rocket You should appear in teh ruins
How to navigate the ruins
W - walk Forward
S - walk Backward
A - walk Left
D - walk Right
Space Bar - Jump
Shift - Open doors
Q - Turn left
E - Turn Right
Mouse Left - Shoot
mouse - Aim up and down
There is a known error with the Buster, first off, he shoots from
his hand, secondly, the shots sometimes stick to MegaMan, if that
happens just move your arm or move backwards. Any questions or comments
would be appreciated, since we are planning to do something very
big very soon.

Right now as we speak, a new movement engine is
being developed. This movement engine is the next. This movement
engine is a complete redesign, because our skills are much better
than the original engine we had been working with. The current engine,
is already farther along than the 10 month old one, which means
we are making great progress. The alpha testers are very pleased
with the engine so far even in the Alpha 4 stage, saying it was
less buggy than the beta 10 engine, and more functional. We have
a video of the movement engine in action below, it demonstrates
the Alpha 4 version of the engine. Alpha 5 is the current build
right now.

MMLE is moving at the fastest pace since we started
right now, making all kinds of adjustments for B 11, including a
near finished walking engine and fighting engine with an entirely
new set of animations and a new animation system. We have the new
MegaMan model even being used for the Beta, this is truly a graphical
overhaul that will please any Legends fan.
We have added new model images and videos today to hopefully spruce
up some kind of fan activity.
In a less happy note, we are SEVERLY short of modelors and artists
for the game, if anyone can help, email me at JMC_47@Wowway.com.
For more information post in the MMLEx thread at the Mega Man Legends
Station & The
Main Gate Forums. |

Today, We bring you the first public release of
MegaMan Legends EXpansion, it's just B 10, which was an AI testing
arena, but now due to its stability, we believe it is ready for
public use. As you will notice, there are many problems with it,
if you have been following the forum, you know these errors, which
include:
Missing polygons, bad collision detection, one directional, missing
sounds (download sound patch to fix) and many more errors.
None of these are serious, so we give to you the first public release.
1. Download B 10 (last news post)
2. INSTALL INTO THE DEFAULT DIRECTORY
3. During installer INPUT THIS EXACT CODE 9200-5206-8958-9369
4. Install sound patch
5. Have fun with this early beta
Do not report bugs or errors to me, and also, do not say it sucks,
this is not supposed to be a demo, but we needed to release something,
and the AI arena is the only stable thing to release, so do not
expect a fully ready game or anything. If you have issues with the
interface, that are not errors, post on the MMLS/TMG
forums.
Enjoy, JMC47 |

MegaMan Legends EXpansion first beta released.
This is only for beta testers, and it is their responsiblity
to get a beta code from me. I may contact the beta testers myself,
but it is still the beta testers responibility in the end. The Beta
is just a zakobon demo with a functional main menu. The controls
are Up arrow, Control to shoot and to turn use the mouse.

Now that the reaverbots are working* we now face
more difficulties with making the game. We want to put a video up,
but the reaverbots are dumber than dirt, often firing at too high
of an angle, plus there movement of pan (rotation) is instant.
*We have just done tests and little fights,
they respond to the player and collision, but no more |

the code working, so that means that we are now past Pre-alpha testing.
Our buster Database is also done, allowing a fully functional buster
part system. |
